The vehicle is collected from the dealership or seller in the country of origin and delivered to the address given by the client, by open or enclosed truck, depending on the type of vehicle and the client's preference. The most frequent origins are Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy and Spain.
Every transport is tracked to the destination, with cargo insurance and a clear indication of the cover and limits in the proposal. The client receives the expected collection and delivery dates, the carrier's contact and confirmation of each stage. New, classic or high-value vehicles travel, as a rule, in enclosed trucks.
Transport is the link between purchase and legalisation. That is why Caetano CarGo works in sequence with Caetano Trust, which handles the purchase from the official dealership, and with Legaliza na Hora, which takes care of the customs declaration, the ISV and the Portuguese registration. The client does not need to coordinate three suppliers: the group manages the full timeline.
